August 10th was Nana's 90th birthday. I ask her what she would like for her birthday and she told me "pancakes for supper" so that is what she got. We waited until Sunday when Caitlin, Tyler and Jessie could be home to really celebrate.
Cathlena sent her flowers....some of her very favorite kind!
Instead of a cake we put a candle in her favorite dessert, a cinnamon twist and ice cream
She blew out the candle as we sang happy birthday to her
A few days ago I had a painting project.......a fox statue that needed to be repainted. It had some dirt and cobwebs on it so Mike offered to wash it off in the shop......he did and when he brought it up to the house he sat it by the back door so that it looked in the house. When Calli noticed it she went on point (I have never seen her do this before)
Jessie grabbed her phone and started videoing her....Izzzy joined the hunt and the poor fox did not have a chance..........it is a little long but watch to the end.
After a long first day, which actually turned into day two - Jessie and Cathlena arrived in Paris, France! Having been up for over 24 hours they checked in to their hotel and took a nap.

After their nap they headed out to explore and to eat! And what did they choose? Asian food!!! Check out the coke can! Pretty cool looking!
What would a trip to Paris be without a picture of the Eiffel Tower?
Cathlena and Jessie are on an adventure - a trip to Paris! Friday afternoon they left Allen to spend the night in OKC where they were catching a plane for Europe on Saturday June 9th at 6 am! First stop was London, England, they had an 8 hour layover so they hired a driver and took a quick tour of London stopping at the Tower Bridge, Big Ben the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and London night life.
After the tour it was time to head back to the airport and on to Paris!
