Let's Catch Up-Caitlin

Caitlin started to college at ECU last fall.  She decided to stay at home and drive back and forth to her classes and that way she could help take care of Nana.   She was rushed by Chi Omega and joined, and with lots of sorority activities and a late night classes she decided to move to the dorm.  She settled in and has been enjoying "college life" coming home as often as she could.  There were a lot of sorority activities on weekends...one was Dad's Day...... Cait and Papa had a good time together!  

Spring semester Caitlin carried 19 hours and worked 20 hours...she works at the ECU Library.  She made 3 A's and 3 B's....so very proud of her!

Getting back to blogging

I haven't been blogging for a while, but I am going to get back to it.  I hope to have some pictures posted in the next couple of days.

Lily's Visit

Lily came to spend the weekend at the ranch and what a time we had.  She helped with the chores, played with Caitlin and Jessie,  visited Nana, and kept us very busy, but we have really enjoyed it!

VACATION!

Vacation this year was spent at home with a visit from Shaun, Danielle, Eva and Lily....it was really hot the whole time but we had a lot of fun! We did a lot of swimming, visiting, and eating!

Pool Repair

At the end of last summer we thought we had a hole in the pool liner.....but it was just a pesky little creature (gopher) who had dug under and caused the liner to pull away from the wall. To repair this issue the water had to be pumped out of the pool, new sand added and leveled, a burm built around the sides then the liner restreched and then it is ready to be filled. Rather than letting all the water go to waste Mike set up the old pool and pumped the water into it until the repairs were made......
