Wednesday morning we woke up to a gray cold day. The weather man said there would be snow in western Oklahoma and around the city. As I drove to work it started to sprinkle and then turned to sleet and by the time I got to Ada it was snowing hard. Large flakes, at times very heavy, but mostly just a steady snow for about 4 hours. It did not last long (it was gone today) but pretty while it lasted.

Christmas in Allen
Christmas morning-First we check out our stockings, Izzy found hers and ate all her treats at one time.
The girls bought each other socks and put them in each others stockings, Papa wanted in the picture!
THE PICKLE ORNAMENT
Long ago when parents decorated the Christmas tree, they hung the pickle ornament last hiding it in the green boughs. When the children were allowed to view the tree, they would begin searching for the pickle ornament because they knew they would receive an extra gift for being the most observant.
Caitlin hides the pickle and the rest of us look!
Jessie was the most observant!
